For as long as I can remember, I have been a doula at heart. Nurturing, protecting, and intuitively holding space for others has always been my natural state of being. My fascination with the mechanics and magic of birth began in a high school biology class while studying fetal development. It was a moment of profound insight that planted a permanent seed—a deep reverence for the incredible journey of bringing new life into the world.​​

Before fully stepping into my calling as a birth worker, I channeled my energy into another great passion: caring for animals. For many years, I served as a program director and caregiver at a large non-profit animal sanctuary. While the setting was different, this rewarding chapter deeply prepared me for the birthing space. Working with vulnerable animals taught me how to communicate without words, anticipate unspoken needs, and remain an anchor of absolute calm during high-stakes, unpredictable situations. I spent years mastering the art of deep listening, navigating unexpected crises, and providing unwavering emotional support. I learned how to breathe through the pressure and establish an atmosphere of safety. Transitioning into birth work was a natural evolution of this foundational caregiving path.

The true turning point arrived when I walked the path myself and gave birth to my two children. During my own labors, I chose to have a doula by my side. Experiencing that continuous physical reassurance and steadfast emotional support during such a transformative, unfamiliar time changed everything for me. It was a powerful reminder that birth is not just a physical event; it is a life-altering threshold that requires skilled support, reliable navigation, and an environment of absolute safety. In those moments, I realized that I wanted to give that same impactful gift to other families.

Today, I trust the birth process implicitly. I have an unwavering belief in the immense strength, wisdom, and intuition of the person bringing new life into the world. Birth is a pivotal, transformative experience, and having a trusted support system can truly make all the difference. My approach is entirely birther-centered, rooted in the unique wishes, safety, and comfort of each individual family.

I am here to create a secure, non-judgmental space where you feel deeply heard, respected, and empowered to make your own decisions. I strive to improve birth outcomes by educating, listening, and offering steady guidance. Every birth is a unique journey that requires preparation, focused presence, patience, and flexibility. Being beside you through your happiest and hardest moments is what drives me. I am honored to walk beside you, helping you connect with your own incredible inner capacity as you welcome your baby into the world.
