Free 30-minute Virtual Consultation
We will meet virtually for thirty minutes to see if we are a good match and want to work together. The consultation will include personal information, timeline, logistics, expectation setting, and explanation of my role as your doula. We will also review the contract and my scope of work. Our relationship and how I support you as a doula will be unique to your needs and experience, below is the general overview of my role.

In-home Prenatal Meetings
We will meet together twice for in-person meetings, once around 30 weeks, and another around 36 weeks. These one-hour meetings will include:

Building a foundation of trust and getting to know each other

Creating your birth plan
-
Reviewing any of your concerns and fears
-
Defining key terms and common scenarios
-
Discussing your pain management options
-
Planning your postpartum care
-
Reviewing your pregnancy up until now and any past births if applicable

Discussing expectations of my role as your doula
-
Understanding the needs of your partner or loved one if applicable
-
Demonstrating comfort measures such as touch massage and hip squeezes

Labor Support
Starting at 37 weeks, I am on-call for when you go into labor. Throughout your entire labor and delivery, I will be by your side to support you (and your partner or loved one if applicable) to implement your chosen birth plan and:

Empower and encourage you to advocate for your needs and wants

Help you make informed decisions not rooted in fear or pressure of modern practices

Support you both emotionally and physically the entire time

Facilitate communication and ensure your questions are answered
-
Create and nurture a calm, safe environment where you will feel comfortable

Provide extra support to allow your partner or loved one to focus on the role that you/they want
-
Serve as an objective viewpoint

After delivery, I will be there for an hour to help with latching and anything else you need to be settled

In-home Postpartum Visit
Within the first ten days of returning home, I will come for a two-hour in-home visit that includes:

Checking on your overall well-being

Help you process your birth experience
-
Assist with newborn care
-
Provide resource recommendations
-
And help you settle into your new life with your baby!

Informal Candid Photography
Once you deliver, I am happy to take informal, candid photos to share with you and your partner. I will transfer all of the photos to you or your partner and then delete them before I leave. This is entirely optional and part of the package price.
